Catherine (born 1860) was a daughter of Donald Smith and Mary Macphail, 25 North Shawbost. Catherine married Murdo Macdonald, 2 Kneep and lived there until 1923, when they relocated to 3 Ardroil. They had eight children, one of whom, Catherine, died in infancy.
