Donald Macleod

Donald Macleod

Donald Macleod (1816-1867) was a son of Donald Macleod and  is said to have come from Cromore.

He was living in Ranish in 1839, when he  married Catherine Chisholm from Cromore.  Donald and Catherine settled in Cromore and they had eight children.

Donald drowned after he fell off Stornoway pier in 1867.
