63594: Angus Maclennan

Aonghas Dhòmhnaill Alasdair

Angus (1892-1958) was a son of Donald Maclennan and Jessie Macmillan, 18 Marvig.  

He emigrated  to Canada and served in the Navy Police in the First World War. Angus is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.

After the War he returned to Lewis and in Lochs in 1919 he married Mary Isabella Mackenzie, 13 Marvig. Angus and Mary Isabella settled at 18 Marvig and  they had eight children.

In the 1921 Census Angus was listed as a Clerk for the Ogilvie Mailing Company Canada.
