Barbara Mackenzie (1800-1845) married John Maclean, 1 Old Eishken, in 1831, in Lochs. Barbara and John settled at 1 Old Eishken and they had a son, Roderick in 1833.
John’s sister, Christina, lived with the family and in 1835 when Eishken was cleared, they all moved to 6 Grimshader.
