64211: John Munro
John Munro (1805-1874) was a son of Donald Munro and Mary Mackinnon from Harris and the Shiant Isles.
In Lochs, in 1833, he married Marion Mackay, from Harris. John and Marion were tenants at 2 Old Eishken and in 1835 they moved to 2 Habost to the croft of Marion’s brother.
In 1842 they moved to 2 Old Leurbost and obtained Croft 22 Leurbost. They remained there until 1856 when they moved to 1 Newmarket.
John and Marion had nine children.
