64609: William Macdonald

William, born 1841, was a son of Malcolm and Margaret nee Mackay who emigrated from North Shawbost to Quebec in 1851, (he appeared, aged 39, and recorded as a blacksmith, at Winslow, Quebec, in the 1881 Census returns). He was married to Ann Macdonald, another emigrant from Lewis; they had issue:

Albion J, 6th Sept b1888 – 25th June 1912 aged 23

James William, b1890 – 1930 aged 40

Willis Howard, b1st Feb 1884 – 6th Nov 1961 aged 77 (married to Chirsty Mackay)

George N, b3rd April 1879 – 1955 aged 76 (married to Ann Maciver; had daughter Muriel)

Shenoc b 1878 – died in infancy

Amy Jane b24th Nov 1882 (married to Colin Alex Macleod)
