65459: Margaret Maclennan

Margaret, born c1771 (c1781 in 1841 census) was married to Malcolm Macdonald. At the time of their daughters’ marriages they were residing in Kneep but by 1841 they had relocated to Valtos.

Besides Marion they had another daughter Ann who was married in December 1831 to Norman Macaskill (son of Donald) from Stornoway.

In 1851 Marion, by now a widow, is living with her daughter Marion and son-in-law Finlay; a Murdoch Macaskill b c1838, relative, is living with them – this may be a son of Ann.
