Catherine (1846-1930) was a daughter of Duncan Macleod and Barbara Macarthur, 8 Kershader.
In Lochs, in 1870, she married Donald Matheson, 13 Gravir. Catherine and Donald settled at 27 Gravir and they had eight children.
Catherine was widowed in 1913 and in 1921 was living with her son, Murdo at Gravir Schoolhouse.
