Catherine (1810-1897) was a daughter of Norman Macleod and Margaret Smith, 15 Old Mangersta. After her marriage to Norman Macleod, Reef they lived at 2 Old Mangersta and they had six children. In 1861, they relocated to 12 Old Mangersta and in 1872, when Mangersta was cleared, they relocated to 1 Doune Carloway.
