Betsy (born 1838) was a daughter of John Maciver and Ann Macmillan who lived in Reef. It is not known where this family settled after the village was cleared in the late 1840s.

Another transcript of the Uig Old  Parish Register gives the birth/baptism date as 30th August 1840, which makes Betsy the Rebekah born in c1840 and enumerated with the family in 1841.
