65751: Mary Mackay

Mary was born c1838 and was the daughter of Murdo Mackay and Flora Macarthur.

Mary and her family lived in Uigen, where her brothers, John and Angus, were registered for baptism. 

The family latterly lived in Reef. When Reef was cleared in the late 1840s, the family relocated to Brue, where they were enumerated in the census of 1851. However, they didn’t remain there and it is not known where they subsequently settled.
