Angus (born 1813) was a son of Colin MacLean and Ann Maciver, Reef. He was married in 1835 to Barbara Morrison and they had five daughters that we know of. The family relocated to Deanston after Reef was cleared. In the late 1850s, Angus and his family emigrated to Colborne Township, Ontario, Canada.
