Ann (born c1818) was a daughter of Donald Macaulay and Marion Macleod who had lived at, A Bhuaile Chlach, Kneep before relocating to 19 New Shawbost. She was married to Malcolm Smith from Ungeshader and they lived at Uigen until the late 1840s when they relocated to 18 New Shawbost.

They registered in Uigen; Sarah (later known as Marion) 01-02-1839, Christina 06-08-1840. Also with them at 18 New Shawbost in 1851; Ann born c1843, Malcolm born c1846 and Kenneth born c1849.

The family emigrated to Canada.
