66206: John Maclean
John (born 1824) was a son of Malcolm Maclean and Margaret Maciver of Pabbay and later Reef.
He married Catherine Mackenzie of Mid Borve (Lewis), now known as High Borve; the couple’s daughter Margaret was born in Uig in 1850.
In 1851 the family obtained 2 High Borve. They had four children there: Henrietta (born c1852, Barvas), William (born c1855, Barvas), John (born c1857, Barvas) and Malcolm (born c1860, Barvas).
