66672: Norman Macleod
Norman (1817-1898) was a son of Donald Macleod and Mary Mackay, 11 Mealista. In 1837, when Mealista was cleared, Norman moved with his family to 15 Old Brenish and in 1849 to 16 Brenish.
Norman married Marion Macleod from 15 Old Mangersta. In the 1860s, croft 9/10 was split and Norman obtained 10 Brenish, where they settled. They had ten children, one of whom, a male child (name unknown) 4.2.1861 – 9.2.1861.
