Roderick MacLeod

Roderick MacLeod was born in 1856, the son of John MacLeod and Marion Ferguson of 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill). As a young man he worked as a cattleherd.

Later he was ordained as a minister and emigrated to Canada, from where he corresponded regularly with Malcolm MacAskill who wrote a poem in his honour, Do Charaidh ann an Canada.
