67866: John Gillies
John (c1813-1858) was a son of Malcolm Gillies and Mary Smith of Miavaig. In 1845 John married his cousin Elizabeth Gillies of Uigen (John and Elizabeth’s fathers were brothers).
The couple relocated to 38 North Shawbost where they had five children.
