Lewis Andrew Addison was the son of Margaret MacLeod of 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill) and her first husband Andrew Addison.

He is remembered on a headstone in the old graveyard near Sandhill on Berneray. Lewis died aged just 26 years old; his date of death was 3rd June 195?. (Unfortunately the last digit is illegible).
