Catherine Munro was born in 1901, the daughter of Catherine Munro of 10 Borve. She attended Berneray School from 1907 to 1909, leaving for Newton Park School, Ayr. She returned briefly to Berneray School in 1910 and again in 1913, presumably when visiting her grandparents.

Catherine married Allan Morrison from Scalpay, with whom she had seven children. She was passed 3 Ruisgarry following the death of her great-uncle Peter Munro. Following her death in 1962, her husband returned to Scalpay, where he remarried.

The croft was passed to Catherine's second cousin Roderick MacLeod.
