68925: Hannah Ferguson
Hannah Ferguson was born in 1835, the daughter of Roderick Ferguson and his wife Marion MacKillop. She spent the early part of her childhood in old Ruisgarry before her family moved to Borgh Mhor, Harris, in the 1840s. In 1854 her father obtained the croft at 10 Ruisgarry (Gunhill) and the family returned to Berneray.
There Hannah married Donald MacAskill on 6th December 1859. They lived at 4a Ruisgarry (Tarraloch) and had seven children together.
