Donald MacAskill

Donald MacAskill, born in 1898, was the youngest son of James MacAskill and Christina MacLeod of 4a Ruisgarry (Tarraloch). He started attending Berneray School in 1904.

During the Great War he served as a Private in the Cameron Highlanders. He was killed on 11th July 1918 and buried in the graveyard at Sandhill on Berneray.
