Marion MacAskill, born in 1873, was the daughter of Peter MacAskill and Lexy Ferguson of 4b Ruisgarry (Tarraloch). Marion became a domestic servant and married Donald Morrison, with whom she was to have nine children. They lived as cottars on 17 Ruisgarry (Brusda), before later moving to Quay.
