Donald (1834-1917) was a son of Malcolm Macdonald and Margaret Macritchie, 3 Old Mangersta. He married Catherine Macdonald, 5 Enaclete and they lived as cottars on 3 Old Mangersta. They had eight children, two born before they relocated to 21 Doune Carloway in 1872.
