70485: Malcolm Maclennan

Malcolm was the first tenant of 9 Doune Carloway; it is not known where he originated from but it is likely to be Bernera as it appears he is related to the Maclennans at 1 Doune. He was married twice; his first wife being Margaet Martin and his second wife was Isabella Macleod. When Doune was cleared in 1853, Malcolm moved to 4 Upper Carloway.
