70765: Kenneth MacAskill
Kenneth MacAskill was born in 1823, the son of John MacAskill and Mary Morrison of Lag a’ Chealla. In 1850 his father obtained the newly lotted croft 7 Ruisgarry (Lag a’ Chealla).
He married Mary Davidson, and they made their home as cottars on his brother-in-law‘s croft – 9 Ruisgarry (Gunhill). Their son John was born in 1868, and the house was subsequently passed to him.
