Christina MacAskill
Christina MacAskill, born 1849, was the daughter of John MacAskill and his second wife Marion MacLeod of Lag a' Chealla. Her father obtained the newly lotted croft 7 Ruisgarry (Lag a' Chealla) the following year.
In 1866 Christina married Alexander Munro, and they lived on his mother's croft, 20 Ruisgarry (Ben Leva). They had eleven children together, many of whom died during childhood. In the early 1900s they moved to Quay, where Christina worked as a wool spinner.
