Janet (born 1854) was a daughter of John Macaulay and Ann Macinnes, 17 Crowlista. Her birth was recorded with her name as Ann Macaulay, and the register includes the information that her name was changed to Janet on 27th March, 1857.  She was married to Donald Macdonald. They settled at his family home at 2 Crowlista where they had six children, one of whom died in infancy.
