Catherine MacAskill, eldest child of Malcolm MacAskill and Ann MacAulay was born in 1867 and probably spent the very early part of her childhood on 7 Ruisgarry, where her parents were cottars. The family later moved to Baile.
Catherine married Donald Morrison of 5 Obbe, which is presumably where the couple made their home.
