Malcolm (born c1801) was a son of Malcolm Macmillan and Christina Maciver of Kirkibost. When Kirkibost was cleared in the early 1820s Malcolm relocated to Point, settling at 2 Shader.

He married Christina (surname unknown) and had at least three children, including; Catherine c1838 (great grandmother of Calum Macdonald, the former Member of Parliament), Malcolm c1841 and John c1846.
