72996: Jean MacKay
Jean MacKay was born in 1859, the daughter of local schoolmaster and registrar Donald MacKay and his wife Marion Paterson of Rubha Mor and later Baile. Jean became a weaveress and later a domestic servant before marrying Donald MacLeod in 1897. They lived as cottars on 1/2 Ruisgarry (Sandhill), where they had a family of two daughters.
