73031: Marion Paterson
Marion, (occasionally Sarah), was born in 1828, the daughter of Norman Paterson and Ann MacLeod of old Borve. Their home was probably at the site now known as Tobhta Thormoid ‘ic Shomhairle. In 1852 Marion married schoolteacher Donald MacKay, with whom she was to have nine children. They made their home at Rubha Mhor, moving to Baile in 1875.
