73737: Catherine MacQueen

Catherine, born 1781, was the daughter of John MacQueen of Ruisgarry. Catherine married John MacDonald of Ruisgarry, where they made their home. Together they had at least seven children. Following her husband’s death Catherine became tenant of the croft, and in 1830 was paying annual rental of £6.7.6. She was still tenant in 1841, but later lived as a cottar in Baile.
