John (1823-1902) was the son of Angus Morrison and Catherine Macleod, 1 Tolsta Chaolais.
He married Mary Macneil of 14 Borrowston.
After the death of his father, the croft at 1 Tolsta Chaolais was split and John and his wife settled at 1a Tolsta Chaolais where they raised seven children.
