Rebecca Paterson

Rebecca Paterson, born in 1873, was the daughter of Norman Paterson and Margaret MacLeod of Rubha Mor, and later cottars on 8 Ruisgarry (Baile).

She became a domestic servant before marrying Alexander MacDonald in 1898, following which she worked as a wool spinner. They had no children of their own, but, in 1911 Rebecca's orphaned niece Marion was living with them at Ludag. Rebecca and Alexander later moved to Pier House in Backhill.
