74078: Norman Paterson

Norman Paterson was one of twins born in 1900 to Allan Paterson and Marion MacKay of 14 Borve. He was orphaned at a young age, his mother having died in childbirth, and his father dying less than two years later. Norman’s aunt Jessie Mary Paterson cared for the orphaned children at 14 Borve.

Norman was a pupil at Berneray School. He later married Dolina Mackinnon from 18 Brenish, with whom he was to have two sons. They made their home in Baile, later moving to Nairn.
