74198: Catherine Paterson

Catherine Paterson, born in 1857,  was the daughter of Norman Paterson and Catherine MacAskill of 9 Ruisgarry (Gunhill).

Catherine became a domestic servant, marrying widower Angus MacDonald in 1879. Together they were to have eight children, living at Quay. Catherine was widowed in 1906, when Angus and his crewmates were lost in a storm. She subsequently worked as a wool spinner.
