74412: John Munro
John Munro, born about 1801, was the son of John Munro and Margaret MacAskill of old Ruisgarry. He married Flora MacKillop, also of old Ruisgarry, which is where they made their home. John, like his father, became a farmer. Together he and Flora were to have thirteen children.
In about 1849 the family moved to 14 Newmarket (Benside), near Stornoway, where John worked as a stonemason.
