Angus, born in 1866, was the eldest child of Donald MacKillop and Margaret MacKillop of Baile. He worked as a fisherman, then a seaman and yachtsman, marrying Effie Munro of 3 Ruisgarry in 1898. Together they were to have ten children. In 1900 Angus was assigned 13 Borve and he worked as a crofter until his death in 1947. His boat was the Welcome Home.
