74663: Mary Paterson
Mary was born in 1852, the daughter of John Paterson and Christina Munro of Taigh a’ Chiobair, Borve. Mary became a domestic servant and in 1869 married Roderick Ferguson of 10 Ruisgarry (Gunhill). Together they were to have nine children. By 1891 Mary was working as a weaveress.
Croft 16 Borve was lotted to her husband in 1900, and the family moved there. Mary died of influenza in 1915.
