75316: John Ross
John Ross was born in 1834, the son of Murdo Ross and Ann Shaw of old Ruisgarry. The family moved to 14 Ruisgarry (Trealigarry) which his father obtained in 1850, then in 1854 to 3 Sgeir an Aoil, Malaclete in North Uist. John married Marion MacLean from 30 Claddach Baleshare, which is where they made their home.
