Marion, born in 1847, was the daughter of Duncan Morrison and Christina MacKenzie of 3 Finsbay, Harris.
In Manish in 1866 she married Alexander MacLeod, with whom she was to have a family of 12 children. They made their home at 15 Ruisgarry (Trealigarry) on the island of Berneray. Marion worked as a wool spinner.
