75563: Sir Thomas Octave Murdoch Sopwith
Sir Thomas Octave Murdoch ‘T.O.M.’ Sopwith was an aviation pioneer and keen yachtsman, a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron. Several men from Berneray crewed on his yachts, including the MY Vita and MY Philante.
In 1934 and 1937 he challenged for the America’s Cup with the Endeavour I and Endeavour II respectively.
