76498: Ann MacLeod

Ann, born 1803, was the daughter of Donald and Margaret MacLeod of Borve. Ann married Norman Paterson with whom she was to have nine children. They lived in Borve, probably at the site now known as Tobhta Thormoid ‘ic Shomhairle, until 1854. At that time the crofts were cleared for Borve Farm, and the Paterson family moved to Meavaig South. Later they settled at 18 Strond.
