76788: Mary MacLean
Mary was born in 1864, the daughter of Angus MacLean and Rachel Paterson of Quay. She remained unmarried, working as a servant. In 1891 she was working for her uncle Archie Paterson at his croft 8 Ruisgarry (Baile). In 1929, following the death of her brothers when their boat overturned in Bays Loch, she was passed the house at Quay. Following her death in 1949 it passed to her nephew Donald John MacLean.
