Ann, born about 1819, was the daughter of Allan Bàn MacLeod and Rebecca MacLeod of Sheabie. Ann married farmer John MacCusbic of old Borve. Together they were to have at least five children. However, in 1854 the tenants in Borve were cleared from their land in order to make way for Borve Farm. The family were removed to 2 Urgha, living there as cottars. Ann died a year or two later, presumably not long after the birth of her youngest child, Ann.
