77732: Margaret MacKinnon
Margaret, more usually Peggy, was born in about 1839, the daughter of John MacKinnon and Betsy MacAskill of old Ruisgarry. Peggy’s father died when she was about 12 years old and the family moved instead to become cottars at Lamerick.
Peggy worked as a domestic servant until her death from supposed consumption in her mid-twenties.
