Catherine (1869-1950) was the daughter of Norman Mackay and Christina Chisholm and lived with her grandparents at 29 Gravir.
In 1896 she was living at 34 High Street, Fraserburgh when she married Donald Kennedy, 2b Calbost. Catherine and Donald settled at 2b Calbost and they had ten children. As senior citizens they moved to Nairn with their daughter Joan.
Four members of Catherine and Donald's family emigrated to the Americas in the 1920s and they lost a son in each of the two World Wars.
