Murchadh Choinnich
Murdo (1801-1874) was a son of Kenneth Chisholm and Christina Macleod from the Mainland. but it is not sure where they came from. The family came to work for the parish minister at Keose Manse as farm labourers and later lived at 17 Old Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1830, he married Isabella Macfarlane, 1 Marvig. Murdo and Isabella were cottars at 17 Old Gravir and they had five children. In the 1852 lotting Murdo obtained 30 Gravir
