8327: Janet Graham Simpson
Janet (1789-1869) was the daughter of Alexander Simpson and Janet Graham of Keose Manse. Janet was also known as Unie or Una.
Unie married John Bethune, who became Established Church Minister on Berneray in 1829. They lived at the Manse in Ruisgarry with their son Alexander.
After John’s death in 1851, Unie moved to Stornoway to live with her sister Margaret.
