8355: Robert Nicolson
Robert Nicolson (1851-1912) was a son of John Nicolson and Isabella Macleod, 5 Old Gravir. In the 1852 Lotting the family obtained 32 Gravir and in 1872 they moved to 22 Newmarket.
In Stornoway, in 1879, he married Annabella Matheson, 39 Gravir. Robert and Annabella settled in Stornoway and they had a daughter, Isabella Ann.
Robert was widowed in 1887 and that year married Christina Macmillan, 14 Gravir. The couple lived in Stornoway and they had at least one child.
